About the Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee

As one of FAC’s standing committees, the Agriculture & Rural Affairs (ARA) Committee is tasked with developing and recommending an annual statewide legislative platform for counties based on the issue areas under their jurisdiction. The ARA committee will primarily consider and address issues including, but not limited to, the following:

Agriculture • Rural Development Programs • Rural Infrastructure • Rural Housing • Fiscally Constrained Counties • Food Access
