Live and work in the Florida Keys – Monroe County is seeking an experienced Public Works Division Director to lead and coordinate the County’s public facilities and core infrastructure, including the Engineering/Roads & Bridges, Facilities Management, Parks & Beaches, and Solid Waste Departments.

This critical senior leadership role oversees high-level planning, budgeting, and operations for multiple departments, ensuring projects and services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with County policies and State and Federal regulations. The Public Works Division Director works closely with County Administration and the Office of Management & Budget on capital planning, reviews engineering and construction documents, coordinates with the County Attorney’s Office on interpreting laws and policies, and represents the Public Works Division before elected officials, community groups, and the public.
