Key Responsibilities

  • Administering Board policies, ordinances, and resolutions.
  • Leading county operations and organizational management.
  • Preparing and administering annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Supervising department directors and county personnel.
  • Building strong relationships with community stakeholders and regional partners.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative leadership.
  • Qualification Flexibility: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Skills: Strong financial management, political acumen, and a commitment to public service.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Florida local government practices and budgeting.
