Since 2018, the Florida Association of Counties (FAC) has added an Innovation Day as part of its Fall Policy Conference. This event is held the day before FAC’s policy meetings and is an opportunity for the host county to showcase projects, programs, and services unique to its community. Over the past five years, the following counties have hosted an Innovation Day: Charlotte County; Bay County; Palm Beach County; Leon County; Miami-Dade County; and, Seminole County. Past intermarries from these counties are attached as a reference. For 2024, FAC’s Innovation Day will be held in Escambia County.

For 2025, FAC is currently soliciting informal proposals from counties who are interested in hosting the FAC Innovation & Policy Conference. The purpose of this process is to provide a fair evaluation of all proposals using the suggested topics below. A committee of FAC’s Institute for County Government (ICG) will review all proposals and make a recommendation to FAC’s Executive Director.
