The application for the ACC Program (Level I) is still open and we do have spots available! The Advanced County Commissioner Program (ACC I) is different from the Certified County Commissioner (CCC) program. The ACC I Program is organized as a series of in-person sessions, with 27 hours of course work. The course content focuses on leadership. Participating Commissioners must commit to fully participate in all three two-day sessions (including the Thursday evening group activity) to graduate. To date, there have been 294 graduates from the ACC I Program.

The 2023-2024 ACC I workshop dates will be:

• October 19-20, 2023

• January 11-12, 2024

• April 11-12, 2024

The tuition fee for the ACC Program is $600, which covers the cost of all three sessions. UF/IFAS Extension is once again the sole sponsor of this program and we are excited to have Drs. Matt Sowcik and Nathan Palardy as our facilitators for this program. All three of the two-day sessions will be held in Alachua County at the Hilton UF Conference Center located at 1714 SW 34th Street, Gainesville, Florida, 3260. Your tuition fee covers all meals (Thursday lunch, snacks, and off-site dinner event AND Friday breakfast, snacks, and lunch) and materials while you are with us. The only additional cost to the attendee will be the hotel room on Thursday night (a block of rooms has been secured and details will be released upon acceptance to the program) and travel expenses to Alachua County.
