As one of FAC’s standing committees, the Future Technology (TECH) Committee is tasked with developing and recommending an annual statewide legislative platform for counties based on the issue areas under their jurisdiction. The TECH committee primarily will consider and address issues including, but not limited to, the following:

The TECH committee will focus on emerging technology policy as counties adapt their governance to 21^st Century modernization and the evolving opportunities to provide efficiencies in service delivery. This includes but is not limited to, the following: 

Artificial Intelligence

Broadband Deployment and Adoption 

Cybersecurity 

Information Technology 

Privacy, Standards, and Guardrails
