All you need to know about this event
On January 21, 2026, the Florida Association of Counties will host our annual Legislative Day at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center in Leon County (555 W Pensacola Street, Tallahassee) — an essential day during the height of the legislative session to support county leadership. The program begins with a legislative briefing in the morning, followed by grassroots lobbying in the afternoon where commissioners and county staff meet with local legislative delegations to defend home-rule authority and resist unfunded mandates. In the evening, a reception will be held to honor members of the Legislature and recognize their partnership with counties. Come prepared to engage, advocate, connect, and advance county priorities.

Parking Information — FSU Turnbull Conference Center
Complimentary event parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the St. Augustine Parking Garage (levels 2–5). You can access the Turnbull Conference Center directly from the garage via the 4th floor, or enter through the main lobby on W. Pensacola Street.
If the parking garage reaches capacity, overflow parking will be available next door at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
