The 2025 Innovation & Policy Conference is where Florida’s counties come together to spotlight success stories, share smart solutions, and debate the policy issues that matter most. Hundreds of county commissioners, administrators, and senior staff will gather together for two days of dynamic discussion, leadership training, and strategic policy planning.

The Agricultural & Rural Affairs committee considers and addresses issues related to agriculture, rural development programs, rural infrastructure, rural housing, fiscally constrained counties, and food access.

The Community and Urban Affairs committee considers and addresses issues related to growth management, development, planning and zoning, state and regional transportation, strategic intermodal system issues, and affordable housing.
As sponsor, you will have the opportunity to introduce speakers at the committee meeting. Your sponsorship also includes signage during the committee workshop and the opportunity to leave collateral in attendee chairs.
The Finance, Tax and Administration committee considers and addresses issues related to taxation, local revenue, state shared revenue, economic development, local fiscal administration, local administrative and management issues, intergovernmental relations (constitutional officers), public records, elections, ethics, Florida retirement system, and utilities.

The Health, Safety and Justice committee considers and addresses issues related to behavioral and mental health, healthcare and human services funding, healthcare and human services policy, emergency medical services, law enforcement, juvenile justice and corrections, substance use disorder prevention and treatment, emergency management, emergency communications, and judiciary – article v.

The Water and Environmental Sustainability committee considers and addresses issues related to water and environmental policy, such as water quality, water quantity, water infrastructure, funding issues, interstate issues, waste and pollution, utilities and energy, and resiliency.
