Job Description:

Your role will be a combination of outreach, marketing, and programming.

• Build and maintain relationships with partners throughout the county: nonprofits, businesses, schools, childcare providers, adult educators.
• Promote the library system, Pop-Up Library, and the 10 brick and mortar branches and History Center.
• Lead and oversee the youth and adult coordinators countywide to implement innovative services.
• Work with our branch library staff to develop cutting edge programs that serve their unique communities.
• Network with other agencies within the County, the community, and the library profession.
• Keep abreast of developments, new trends, and innovations in libraries.
• Provide assistance at outreach events and mobile library service on a regular basis and to other sections as needed.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Work schedules may vary due to scheduled events, partner sites and library programming needs.

 About You

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a public library.
• Must obtain a Valid Florida Driver’s License by date of employment.

 About Everything Else

Starting Pay Range: $68,500.00 – $74,000.00

Position Salary Range: $64,896.00 – $114,358.40
