Indian River County, Florida is seeking a Director of Information Technology. The position is responsible for the County’s Information Systems (IS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Telecommunications divisions to include network infrastructure, software, applications, and hardware necessary to ensure continuity of operations, maintenance of data, accessibility, and efficiency. The Director will facilitate collaboration between County departments focused on analyzing and improving systems and technology, and implementing solutions. The Director will provide leadership, analysis, and strategic vision to advance the County’s IS, GIS, and Telecommunications systems. This is an executive leadership position reporting to the County Administrator. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of ten years of professional experience in information technology with a minimum of four years’ experience in a senior leadership role to include direct personnel management overseeing information technology for an agency of similar size and complexity.
