The Florida Recycling Partnership and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection will promote recycling during this year’s Florida Recycles Week November 9-15.  Recycling activities will kick off on Monday, November 9th at 2 pm with a webinar and culminate with Floridians taking the pledge to Recycle Right in conjunction with America Recycles Day on Sunday, November 15.  Each day will have a unique theme encouraging and educating people on the proper way to recycle.

The webinar will include opening comments from FDEP Secretary Noah Valenstein and Florida Recycling Partnership Chair Dawn McCormick, along with informative sessions:

    • November 11 – “Recycle on the Go” – check for recycling containers while you are on the go.  If you cannot find a recycling bin while traveling, make sure to have a bag in your car so you can take your plastic bottles and aluminum cans home and recycle them. – Wawa
