The Environmental Protection Agency and the Antioch New England's Center for Climate Preparedness and Community Resilience have announced that they are co-hosting a 90-minute online training session for local government and consultants on the Stafford Act, FEMA Recovery Programs and resilience funding.  This seminar will take place on September 17, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.   

It has been learned that disaster recovery and funding approval can be significantly expedited by pre-event planning.  In this training, participants will learn some of the basics of the FEMA Recovery Programs and how to avoid pitfalls in the process of navigating Stafford Act requirements.   Participants will also receive valuable materials including a FEMA checklist, disaster management toolkit, case study examples and guidance reports.
