FAC is pleased to announce the upcoming Regional Workshop on Legislative Process just in time for the 2015 Legislative Session! This regional workshop will focus on the upcoming Legislative Session for Florida and how to make the best of the process. It will cover the Legislative timelines, committee structures, calendars, bill tracking, and coordination between the chambers as well as some insight into the Federal Legislative Process. Experts will be on hand to guide you through Lobbying at the Capital and FAC’s 2015 Legislative Priorities. You won’t want to miss this workshop!
This regional webinar will be held Friday, March 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST at 6 UF/IFAS locations throughout the state of Florida. The locations hosting this regional workshop are: Alachua, Escambia, Hendry, Hillsborough, Leon and St. Lucie Counties. The fee to participate is $50. Registration is now open for all Commissioners and county staff who wish to attend. Commissioners attending this event will receive 3 hours of elective credit toward their CCC certification and ACC Alumni in attendance will receive 10 Torchbearer points.
