From March 25-27, during the week of FAC's Legislative Day event, commissioners have the opportunity to earn up to 19.5 hours of credit toward the County Commissioner Certification (CCC) Program. By simply attending the Legislative Day Briefing on March 26, commissioners will earn 1.5 hours of continuing education credit. On Wednesday and Friday, Growth Management and Financial Management (both core classes), will be held at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center (555 W. Pensacola Street, Tallahassee).  On Thursday, following the Legislative Briefing, the first of three annual Ethics, Public Records & Sunshine Law courses will also be held at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center.

Each of the three CCC courses held in conjunction with Legislative Day are worth 6 hours of core credit. The Ethics course is mandatory to complete the CCC Certification and must be taken each year to fulfill the requirements put into place by the State Legislature.  Each course requires an additional fee; they are NOT included in your Legislative Day registration fee.
