At CareerSource Florida and in the offices of our 24 regional partners, we have done more than just change our name. To better assist job seekers and businesses who often work and operate throughout their region and the state, we aligned the brand names of our state and local workforce investment boards to a single, unified identity — the CareerSource Florida network.

Our top priority has always been connecting job seekers with employment, but with more than two dozen different names and logos, finding us wasn’t always as easy as it should have been. Through a collaborative and market-driven research and development process, the CareerSource Florida network was launched to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect with recruiting, hiring and training services and resources to help you succeed and prosper.

This means the workforce development partners you may have worked with previously – Workforce Florida at the state level, or one or more regional workforce boards at the local level – all now have names and logos that begin with “CareerSource” and are paired with a regional identifier, such as CareerSource Capital Region, CareerSource Flagler Volusia and CareerSource Southwest Florida.

Our goal was a simple one — improve awareness, understanding and use of the many hiring, employment and training services and resources available to job seekers (often at no cost) through our state workforce system. Florida is actually the first state in the nation to align its state and local workforce boards and career centers through a common brand that conveys our shared mission of connecting businesses with qualified, skilled talent and Floridians with employment and career development opportunities.
