For those who will not be in attendance at FAC’s Policy Conference in West Palm Beach, Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) and the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA) are hosting the 4th Annual Florida Water Forum on Friday, Sep. 20, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Forum will address critical issues related to Florida’s water crisis, including agricultural water supply, permitting, alternative water supply projects, the Everglades and Numeric Nutrient Criteria legislation.  Also on the agenda is a preview into the 2014 legislative session.

Scheduled speakers include: Commissioner Adam Putnam (Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services); Secretary Herschel Vinyard (Florida Department of Environment Protection); Sen. Wilton Simpson (R-New Port Richey); Rep. Ben Albritton (R-Bartow); Rep. Matt Caldwell (R-Lehigh Acres); Rep. Dana Young (R-Tampa); Rep. Ray Pilon (R-Sarasota) and Rep. Elizabeth Porter (R-Lake City).
