We are pleased to announce an additional conference event that will, no doubt, generate excitement and helps us help Floridians who served our country in the United States military.  We also want to recognize the many county officials who served their country and now serve their communities.

FAC is collaborating with the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, the Florida Veterans Foundation (FVF), and the County Veterans’ Service Officers Association of Florida to hold a silent auction on Wednesday, June 26.  The event is made possible by the generous support of participating exhibitors and sponsors.

All proceeds will be donated to the Florida Veterans Foundation (FVF).  Created by the legislature in 2008, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.  Many veterans face on-going challenges.  In short, FVF advocates for veteran-related issues and provides direct services to improve the physical, mental, financial, and social well-being of Florida veterans.

Our state can brag about being home to 1.6 million veterans.  These vets served in peace time and in conflicts spanning from World War II, Korea, Viet Nam to the wars in the Middle East.  We owe each and every one and their families a huge debt of gratitude.

So, plan to bid early and often at this very special fundraising event.
