Governmental Corner
FAC staff represents Florida's counties throughout the year before the Governor, Cabinet, Florida Legislature and various state agencies. Each year, the Florida Association of Counties, through the guidance of the membership, develops a legislative platform to present before state leaders and lawmakers. During the legislative session, FAC monitors those bills affecting county government, which is about one out of every three bills, and updates its members through the weekly FAC Legislative Bulletin (during session) and biweekly News and Notes.
