County Government Structure & Authority
On Wednesday, April 30, Commissioners can receive 6 Core credit hours for attending the County Government Structure & Authority workshop. This workshop will focus on the history of Florida’s counties, constitutional changes to county function and authority, the different forms of county government, and intergovernmental relations.
County Government Roles & Responsibilities
On Thursday, May 1, County Government Roles & Responsibilities workshop will address topics including Public Safety, Health and Human Services, Transportation, and a review of the Florida Statutes. This workshop will be the last Core course offered before Annual Conference. Commissioners in attendance will receive 6 Core credit hours.
