Valuable New Member Service- FREE
FAC is excited to announce a new and FREE benefit for its members. Each county is now eligible to receive one free email subscription to OrdinanceWatch. OrdinanceWatch sends email alerts on proposed city and county ordinances and resolutions from around the state on topics of interest to your county. Some of you may have been receiving these email alerts in the past from OrdinanceWatch. Previously, there was no subscription fee, but as of March 1, that changed. If you continue your subscription through OrdinanceWatch, there is now a $100 subscription fee for each account. To better serve our members, FAC has entered into a contract with OrdinanceWatch whereby FAC will make available to each member county one FREE subscription as a member benefit.
You may choose to receive alerts on 90 different topics related to growth management , general business, housing, fees and taxes, utilities, code enforcement, land use, environmental and transportation issues, just to name a few. You can also choose them all. The topics are currently monitored in several counties and cities in Florida. The email alerts will also contain timely information related to FAC. All you need to do is determine the email account in your county to receive the alerts and contact Gail Ricks in the FAC Office to initiate the subscription process.
