Southeast Diesel Collaborative (SEDC) Grant Application Workshop

The Southeast Diesel Collaborative (SEDC) Grant Application Workshop, will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2008, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center in Atlanta, GA.

The Southeast Diesel Collaborative Grant Application Workshop is designed to provide attendees with a unique opportunity to receive in-depth training on the who, what and when of preparing a federal grant application. This meeting will focus on providing attendees information on the various funding opportunities under the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA), tips on completing a grant proposal, the various types of clean diesel projects, and which type of funding is appropriate for each. Additionally, attendees will hear about examples of past successful projects, ideas for grant projects that support the SEDC priorities and the opportunity to network with other partners and organizations.

The workshop is free and open to all SEDC current and future partners, public and private entities, and individuals interested in securing funding for environmental strategies to improve air quality and public health by reducing emissions from existing diesel engines in the Southeast.
