FAC 2008 Legislative Conference

The 2008 FAC Legislative Conference in St. Johns County is a critical element in FAC's policymaking. This event is your opportunity to join county officials from across the state and help define the Association's legislative agenda for the 2008 Legislative Session.
The Florida Association of Counties is called upon to represent county government interests year-round on a variety of issues including finance and tax, healthcare, transportation, and growth management. The Legislature, the Governor, state agencies and a variety of other interested parties look to FAC for the county perspective on the varied and complex issues of the day.

FAC has secured a block of rooms at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort, 500 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine. The reduced room rate for FAC attendees is $159 single/double, plus applicable taxes. Make reservations by calling (888) 740-7020. You must state you are with the Florida Association of Counties to receive this special rate. The official cut-off date for the FAC reduced room rate is October 22, 2007. Reservation requests received after this date will be based on availability and prevailing rates.
