Policy Committee Conference

FAC 2011-12  Policy Committee Conference

The Shores Resort  –  Volusia County
September 21-23, 2011

The 2011-12 Policy Committee Conference will bring together the FAC Legislative Policy Committees to examine the Association’s agenda for the next legislative session.  Determining the consensus position of Florida’s 67 counties is truly a challenge.  FAC’s success in doing so is made possible by the service and commitment of county officials throughout the state who participate in the policy development process.  County commissioners and county staff work together through FAC’s four standing committees and through the urban and rural caucuses, which prioritize many issues important to all counties.  The recommendations of the policy committees are forwarded to the full membership for its consideration at our Legislative Conference.

The 2011-12 FAC Policy Committee Conference in Volusia County is a critical element in FAC’s policymaking. All members are urged to join in for the important work ahead.
