1st Vice President and Leon County Commissioner

Commissioner Bryan M. Desloge is currently serving as the Florida Association of Counties' 1st Vice President and will serve as president in 2013. He won a two-year term of office in 2006 as Leon County Commissioner for District IV.  He was elected again unopposed to a four-year term in 2008.  His fellow commissioners honored him by their election of him as the County Chair for FY 2008-2009.  He currently serves as chair of Tallahassee Leon County Blueprint 2000; a member of the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA); the Community Redevelopment Council (CRA); the Leon County Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Advisory Council, Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority and many others.

Bryan M. Desloge earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from the Florida State University in 1983.  He is President of Desloge Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment, a Tallahassee company that specializes in providing durable home medical equipment and respiratory services.  Since 1992, Mr. Desloge has rapidly grown and expanded the company and was included in the prestigious INC. 500 List, which recognizes the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.  Prior to starting his own company, he spent over 10 years with IBM in the Florida Panhandle working with public sector accounts in an administrative and marketing capacity.


 He participates in many professional and charitable organizations.  He currently serves as a board member of Florida State University, School of Business, Board of Governors; First Vice President for the Florida Association of Counties Board; and as a member of the Leon County Schools Foundation Board  He serves as a board member of the Knight Creative Community Initiative and is a founding member of the Village Square Organization.  He also serves as a member of the Clinical Ethics Committee.  He has served on the boards of the Jim Moran Institute and as board member and past chair of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce; the Leon County American Red Cross; Goodwood; the Senior Center Foundation; and many others.  He is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee and Leadership Florida.

Commissioner Desloge is a native of Tallahassee and a graduate of Leon High School. He and his wife, Beth, have four children: Elizabeth, Lina Marie, Marcella, and Patrick. He is especially proud that his wife’s family has lived in Tallahassee for nine generations, making the birth of his children the tenth generation in the family’s Tallahassee lineage.  Outside of his professional and volunteer life, Commissioner Desloge stays active running, cycling, and traveling.
