Community Services Block Grants
Community Services Block Grants (CSBG) is a formula grant that provides funding for states to provide supportive services to assist low-income individuals and families in becoming self-sufficient. Typically, States fund these services by making sub-grants to locally based Community Action Agencies and other eligible entities that provide direct services.
